Multi-chain support is now table stakes for crypto books
Multi-chain support has become table stakes for crypto sportsbooks and casinos. Bettors now expect to deposit and withdraw across BSC, Polygon and Arbitrum, not only Ethereum. An operator offering a single network looks increasingly dated, particularly where gas costs are concerned.
The reasons are practical. Ethereum mainnet remains expensive for small, frequent transactions, which is exactly the pattern betting produces. Layer-2 networks and alternative chains settle quickly and cheaply, and users who already hold funds there prefer not to bridge for every wager. Supporting several networks is now a basic expectation rather than a differentiator.
The trade-off is operational. Each additional chain expands the surface for smart-contract risk, bridge risk and user error. Sending the right token on the wrong network remains a common and often unrecoverable mistake. Operators that add chains without clear guidance create problems as readily as they solve them.
For bettors, the sensible approach is to use the network you already understand and to check the deposit route carefully. Multi-chain support improves convenience; it does not reduce the need for care at the point of transfer.
